Inverness music – Fairport Convention at Eden Court

Iconic folk favourites Fairport Convention will be appearing at the Empire Theatre at Eden Court in Inverness on Monday 1 March.

Renowned as one of the best bands on the live music circuit this promises to be a great gig.

The band recently won a BBC Lifetime Achievement award, and their ground breaking album Liege and Lief was voted by Radio 2 listeners as “The Most Influential Folk Album of All Time”.

New Decade @ Beauly Gallery

New Decade @ Beauly Gallery from Tuesday 9th February 2010 onwards.

Beauly Gallery re-opens and starts off the new decade with its first exhibition of the year featuring works by Iain Brady, Norman Laird, Davy Brown, Hana Walls plus a few other well known names.

The gallery offers a great environment to take in the art and enjoy a coffee plus there’s well-stocked gift shop too.
