Ullapool Book Festival

Ullapool Book Festival runs from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th May 2010 at the Ullapool Village Hall in Market Street, Ullapool.  

This is the 6th year of the Ullapool Book Festival and it has become one of the highlights of the literary year focussing on Gaelic Writing and Highland Culture. The festival will be well represented with various poets and authors in particular the popular Andrew Greig and Iain Finlay Macleod.

Scotlands most celebrated writer, Iain Banks, will also be at the Ullapool Book Festival appearing on Friday 7th May and he is sure to bring enthusiasts from all corners. Known predominantly for his mainstream fiction he also writes great science fiction and he will be previewing some of his latest work.
