Oakwood Restaurant Dochgarroch Inverness

Oakwood Restaurant at Dochgarroch is just a few minutes drive from Inverness and close to Loch Ness. Gaby and Gus are the owners of Oakwood and they are a lovely and interesting couple.

The menu is uncomplicated and unpretentious and the dishes are all made with high quality, local produce cooked to perfection by Gaby who without doubt is incredibly skilled in presentation. Everything looks and tastes so good and even a simple salad arrives at the table looking like a spring garden flavour to perfection with a beautiful vinegrette.

Oakwood is frequented regularly by locals which is always a strong recommendation but if you are staying at a bed and breakfast in Inverness or nearby you really must give it a try.
