Cruise Loch Ness in style – luxury boat trips from Inverness

If you’re looking for something a bit different and special to do while enjoying the hospitality of your Inverness guest house, consider taking a luxury cruise on Loch Ness!

Highland Free Spirits offer exclusive trips on Loch Ness on their luxurious fast flybridge motor cruiser. They can accommodate parties of up to 6 guests, visiting both well known spots such as Urquhart Castle or Dores Bay, as well as lesser known gems around the loch. Trips depart from Dochgarroch (where the northern most stretch of the Caledonian Canal meets Loch Ness), just a few miles south of Inverness.

Highland Free Spirits can provide daytime trips, evening excursions (enjoy watching the sun set over Fort Augustus), winter cruises(which can be enjoyed from the warmth of the centrally heated saloon!), and outings to celebrate a special occasion (even weddings!)

The cruiser is capable of speeds in excess of 30 knots for guests who like to feel the wind in their hair, or a more leisurely pace for those who prefer to proceed more gently!

Last year four of our guests from the US found their day out with Highland Free Spirits to be the highlight of their 2 week Scottish vacation. More recently (last weekend!) close friends enjoyed a fabulous day out exploring the beautiful hidden spots around Loch Ness, while enjoying a gourmet champagne lunch.

The fully qualified skippers and experienced crew carry a full inventory of saftey enquipment, and ensure that your trip is fun, enjoyable, and safe.

A Loch Ness cruise with Highland Free Spirits promises a highly rewarding and unforgettable excursion during your Highland vacation. Some of our Inverness B&B owners have personal experience of these wonderful cruises and we can recommend them unreservedly!
