Living Food at Cawdor Castle – celebrating the rich diversity of Highland food produce

Cawdor Castle is the picturesque setting for this year’s Living Food event, taking place on Saturday 26 September, between 10 am and 5 pm. There will be around 50 stalls selling a fine range of locally produced food and drink. Among producers attending are the Ullapool Bakery, Dry Island, Wester Ross Fisheries and Sleepy Hollow (fish), Walk Farm and Geddes Free Range (meat), McLeod Organics (vegetables), Connage and Wester Lawrenceton (cheese). The Black Isle Brewery will be supplying organic beer and Highland Wholefoods will be supplying organic wine to accompany the barbecue hosted by Cawdor Castle.

Michelin starred chef, Charlie Lockley of Boath House, will be doing a cooking demonstration, and Alexander Campbell Chapman of the Findhorn Foundation will be providing music.
