Northern Roots – Bogbain Farm Inverness takes place from 4th – 6th June 2010.

Northern Roots is a Folk, Country and Roots Music Festival and the line up of performers this year includes Andy M Stewart & Gerry O’Beirne, Moishe’s Bagel, The Bevvy Sisters, Blue Flint, Tim Eady Collective, Dean Owens & Bruce MacGregor, Anna Massie & Mairearad Green, Alan Frew, Vaguely Rajun and the Chiuhuahas.

Westlife in concert at Cawdor Castle

Irish pop favourites Westlife have confirmed they will be performing at Cawdor Castle on Saturday 28 August.

The Press & Journal reports “DEMAND is so hot for tickets for the Westlife concert at Cawdor Castle near Inverness that a further 2,000 have been released.

A total of 12,000 fans will now flock to the historic castle, with its links to Shakespeare’s Macbeth.”

The tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster or from 01667 404401.

Inverness Christmas pantomime 2009 – Jack and the Beanstalk

The Inverness Christmas pantomime for 2009 is Jack and the Beanstalk, with performances at Eden Court Theatre running from Monday 7 December until Sunday 10 January.

This year’s panto features the BIGGEST Giant in pantoland, along with spectacular scenery, beautiful costumes, hilarious slapstick and plenty of audience participation.
