Bottlenose Dolpins – Ecoventures Moray Firth Inverness

Bottlenose Dolphins can be seen in the waters of the Inner Moray Firth near Inverness. This is the home to the most northerly colony of Bottlenose Dolphins and Ecoventures offer the best chance to view the resident colony in their new custom built Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) with the opportunity to listen to the dolphins underwater using the on board hydrophone.

There are also frequent sightings of harbour porpoise, common and grey seals and minke whales. The spectacular coastline allows for close up views of the bird colony which is home to common and black guillemots, razorbills, shags, cormarants, kittiwakes and fulmars.

Ecoventures are a Scottish Tourist Board 4-Star Wildlife Experience and are located Harbour Workshop, Victoria Place, Cromarty, IV11 8YE. Their telephone number is 00 44 (0)1381 600 323. If you are staying at a Bed And Breakfast In Inverness your hosts will happily make bookings for you.
