Horse riding near Inverness – pony trekking in the Highlands

There are some great horse riding trails in the countryside near Inverness. The Highland Riding Centre is based at Borlum Farm, situated in the hills overlooking Loch Ness, and comprises over 400 acres of land with a real variety of field, mountain and forest paths. They cater for riding for all abilities. Borlum Farm (approved by the ABRS and the BHS) is also home to Riding for the Disabled.

Horse riding is also available in the stunning Glen Affric Nature Reserve, with Highland Pony Treks and Trail Rides. Guided walks are also available.

Exploring the beautiful Highland countryside by horseback is a wonderful day out for visitors enjoying Inverness guest house hospitality.
