Ramsay of Carluke are award winning bacon curers and butchers using only ‘Farm Assured’ Outdoor Reared Free Range Pigs and produce Traditional Ayrshire Bacon, Free Range Pork, Sausages, Black Pudding, Haggis and Cooked Hams. They also supply matured Scottish grass-fed beef.
They have recently received two Gold Taste Awards at the Great Taste Awards 2009 for their Free Range Pork Sausage and their Haggis. This brings their Taste Award total to 24 since 2003 and overall awards to 106.
If you are visiting the Foodies at the Festival in Edinburgh’s Holyrood Park, 21st – 23rd August 2009, you can visit Ramsay of Carluke on Stand A48. They will be sampling and selling a range of their products throughout the three day Festival which also features several of Scotland’s top chefs.
You can also sample Ramsay’s Dry Cured Smoked Back Bacon, Pork Sausages and Black Pudding if you are visiting Inverness. Avalon Guest House bed and breakfast accommodation in Inverness serve Ramsay’s produce as part of their cooked breakfast.
