Winter Light at Eden Court – the Scottish Ensemble in Inverness

The Scottish Ensemble will be at Eden Court in Inverness on Thursday 10 December, performing their Christmas concert, Winter Light.

Composer John Woolrich has curated a special programme to frame his new work for the Scottish Ensemble, ‘Capriccio’. The candlelit concert will be preceded by a pre-performance talk at 19.15. Tickets for this hugely popular concert are selling fast!

The annual Art, Craft & Food Fair (run by Exclusively Highlands for local artisans) takes place at Eden Court on 20, 21 and 22 November, and is always a treasure trove for Christmas gifts, including handmade jewellery, textiles, wood turning, paintings, sculpture, handmade soaps, ceramics and other high quality artwork. On 28 and 29 November Exclusively Highlands is hosting a Victorian Christmas Fair at Brodie Castle. The Art, Craft & Food fair will be back in Inverness on 12 December at Inverness Town Hall.

The Eastgate Centre has an excellent range of well known High Street shops and department stores, while the Victorian Market features specialist shops offering a tempting selection of both quirky and conventional gifts.

The Christmas Lights switch on takes place on 22 November (further details to be announced soon) and is always guaranteed to get young and old alike into the Christmas spirit!
